East Central Indiana | Some squirrels decided to use the gas tank on my grasshopper as a chew toy. I left the seat flipped up over winter and they chewed a half dollar sized hole right in the top corner of my tank.
So far I've been unsuccessful in patching it
My first attempt was using grain bin puddy that goes between bin sheets to cover the hole and then put JB weld plastic repair over the top of the puddy.
The JB plastic repair got super hard at first but has since cracked and flacked off over the puddy. It stayed rock hard where it was over plastic but not the puddy.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? | |
