wc in | two days ago, a knowledgeable farmer told me that becks, central indiana, should replant all beck hybrids planted before may 1. this is because of cold overly wet conditions. corn is up and growing, but the long term conditions of being very slow start growing leads to problems down the road. i guess they refer to seedling blights, pythiums, and whatever attacks the seed due to wet cold conditions.
surprised of no reports of this on this webpage unless i missed it. | |
