Lancaster County, Pa. | Posting this for a friend. He bought a 2008 7500its chopper with about 2000 hrs on it. He knows the history on the machine. The prodrive went out at 1500 hrs and was replaced with a reman JD unit. My buddy put about 4 hrs on the machine this spring and the reman prodrive "went out". Not sure of exact failure just that it came apart inside. The reman prodrive unit only lasted 550 hrs. Is this normal? Are these prodrive units known for causing trouble or is this just an odd case? | |
