Subject: Interseeding cover crops

Southeast mn
The post below got me thinking about interseeding cover crop into corn. I probably won't this year but I was looking at past threads and have a few questions. I use conventional tillage and do corn to soy beans rotation.

1. What kind of cover crop do u plant and what's it typically cost for the mix of seeds in your area?

2. Do you normally plant in corn instead of beans?

3. What kind of planter do u use or do u use a plane and topspread and cultivate it in?

4. What is your reason for doing this?

5. What kind of benefit do u see in terms of fertilizer savings or do u see yield drag from covers.

Sorry lots of questions nobody in my area does this and would like to learn more on this thank you
