Meant to post this the last time this topic was discussed but this little gizmo had gotten misplaced. Found it today while doing some cleaning out of things. Some have the ability to take 2 wires bent at 90° and walk across tile lines, electric lines, or waterlines and have them cross as you walk perpendicular to the lines. I can't make those work consistently. Some people can some can't. Dad got this little gizmo through working at the utility company and it seems to be slightly better than bent wires. I can usually make it work locating things where I know pretty much where they are, However when searching for unknown tile locations it seems less reliable. I have had it turn and dug and dug and dug and found nothing. Just thought it was an interesting device that others might like to read about and see it. Keywords for later: Magnetomatic
