Southern Ab | For as long as I can remember I've had a "treasure box". The first thing that went in it was my grandads tie clip. Then my dads stuff and whatever I thought was priceless at that point in my life. Anyway I gave my girls there first peek into that era where I was chasing their momma. It was turbulent time as I dated her then skipped over to another girl for a few years then we met up and ran away together spur of the moment. Anyway at the bottom of the box was this belt buckle. It came from when a group of Idaho growers were up here in '77 maybe '78. I can see myself driving around in my lime green Chevy pickup with wavy long hair, my superspud buckle, torn off sleeves and not a care in the world. Hairs gone, trucks gone, got some new shirts, wife and I still joined at the hip.
