Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | Planning on seeding some cover crops later this month with a helicopter into standing corn.
Last year we used a drill after beans (going into corn) and put on
oats
tillage radish
clover
rape.
It was later in the season and I got a so-so stand.
Last year the tillage radish winter killed before it got real big....I actually felt like the Rape gave me the most benefit as it took off again in the spring.
What would you recommend seeding this year in the corn going back to beans next spring?
