Subject: Should I plant my treated soybean seed to bare land now

Southern MN
I had a construction project that required tearing up a couple acres of a field. I have 3 bags of treated 1.7 maturity soybeans I was planning on planting in this area when I figured the project would have been done in June. I have black dirt that I would like to put something on to help break up compaction, control erosion, and hold back weeds.

If I keep the treated seed till next year, will it be any good?
If I plant it, I know I won't be harvesting anything, but will it achieve erosion control or hold back weeds?

Is tillage radishes the only way to go? All I have is row crop equipment, but I could borrow a spreader to spread the seed and use a drag to get it in the dirt.

I'll be planting corn on this land next year.
