Coastal South Carolina | I have some soybeans that my pre-plant herbicide has not held. Due to planting intentions next year and crops next to the soybeans I am limited on what I can use. I have cultivated them and finally went over them with a wiper bar using 1gallon of water 3 quarts of gramoxone and a dash of crop oil. As you can see from the pictures I have had outstanding results. The only problem is I either got to close on a lot of them or my wiper was leaking. On the beans only the tips of the leaves seem to be burnt. These were wiped Friday afternoon. The pictures were taken Monday afternoon. Will the beans survive?
Not sure how to add captions to pictures but here is the order:
pic 1 &2 show damage to top of beans
3 show torched pigweed
4 show part of my audience. They watch every move I make.
