Western IL. | 1st. pic. is the evening of June 30th with over 2" of rain, blew some corn down, about the first 24-36 rows along the edge of a 40, second pic is today July 3rd got another 1" of rain. Starting to come back up but is tasseling pretty hard and I don't know how well it will pollinate. Was planning a shot of fungicide for this field but don't know if or when I should do it. It has been very dry here and no signs of diseases yet. No bins or dryer, hauls straight to elevator. Should I give it some fungi just to help with the stalk strength until harvest of leave it alone so it's not such high moisture and harvest early. 3rd. pic is a small field on another farm that's not looking good at all.
