WC Illinois | We are in a dry pocket and the corn is rolling pretty tightly in the afternoons.
Yesterday was sunny and hot (about 96) but we had a front come through mid afternoon. No clouds or drop in temperature but a noticeable drop in humidity (dew point went from 73 to 61). I noticed the corn was rolled a lot less when the humidity dropped. This seemed backwards to me as I thought it would roll worse in the lower humidity to reduce evaporation.
Can anyone enlighten me?
