Subject: triticale best time to cut?

SW Ohio
Have a small field of trit we plan to round bale and wrap for the beef cows, weather has not cooperated and the window for doing this is small, do not want to mud up the field too bad but need to do this when the feed value is good and volume is also good, but plan to no-till it to corn ASAP, weather permitting (it rains here about every three days seems like).
Today the first heads are beginning to show out of the flag leaf, it is about waist tall or a little shorter, this weekend may be a break in the weather, if not our next chance may be a week later. Do we go now or wait and see?
