Recently returned from a trip to Ireland. Just rented a car and did lots of driving. Sunset was after 10 so we would go drive on country roads after supper and often met farmers to stop and visit with. Ireland has the friendliest folks we have ever met. The first farmer we met turned out to be in the tiling business too. Even though they are very rocky they even tile pastures since it rains so much. And rocky is an understatement. The entire country is broke up into small fields bordered by stone fences -- many of which are hundreds of years old.
