Subject: Kubota credit problem

North Central Kansas
I have a payment due to Kubota Credit on a no interest note. I got the payment notice in the mail today, February, 2. The payment is due February 5. I have no chance of mailing on time. I am afraid I'd lose my zero interest. I can call and do a payment over the phone tomorrow, but I wonder why this happens every year. Date of notice on the payment notice was January 15.
Anyone else experienced this with Kubota Credit??

You should be able to make a payment online I would think.

You could always do a 2 day Express mail from your post office.    If it's near a major airport you can even go over night.

im betting its more to do with the post office than kubota. Screwing stuff been going on with mail the past few years I've noticed. Seems letters take longer and longer and longer to get where they are supposed to be. Mail that I used to get next day takes 3 now and others can take over a week.

Pay it online. Do that with all payments.

If it is postmarked the 3rd, I can't see them having a problem, I would probably call and ask to be sure though.

I would call them, talk until you find someone who sounds like someone you trust, even ask for their superior.  Tell them everything.  IH Credit was no problem, don't know about Kubota but good companies do good things.

Good luck.

And the reality is they prolly have a 10 day grace period before they would get nasty with you.

I can do it on line or on the phone. I just didn't want to lose my zero interest and this just seemed fishy.
I know the postal system is kinda funny. I live at the north end of the state and our mail goes to Wichita to be sorted.

It's the mail not kubota, sold some beans last fall was busy combining so just said mail the check, elevator is about 8 miles away. Didn't see the check for 2 full weeks, it was actually post marked that it was in Indianapolis at one point.

I have always paid Kubota online. I can't remember on any of my Kubota accounts getting a statement in the mail. When I bought the first one, they gave me payment coupons. The last two I set up for email reminders. Those reminders come on time, even though I have it set up for autopay.

Call them and make the payment over the phone. Not a big deal...
Furthermore I'm sure they are set up so you can have online payments or auto pay. Set it up..... it's easy. Review account, print off yearly statements etc. Deere does it and most others do. Paper.... mail.... checks etc.... waste of time, takes too long, and really not efficient.

It actually IS Kubota, not the mail, for the most part.

We bought a Kubota skid loader and did the no-interest thing. Dealer warned us to make sure to send payment BEFORE we get the bill, because Kubota will not send it out in time to return it on time.

We send it early, have not had a problem.

Since they've shut down a lot of sorting centers, the Postal Service has gone to running the mail during the day, rather than the previous night.   This is delaying all mail one day.   Trust me, the local offices aren't happy about this and we've complained, to no avail.

Pay it online and fill out the forms to set it up as an automatic withdraw from your checking account. That takes care of the deadline problem. I reality there is probably a grace period on that payment by why take the chance?
