| The white lettering on my pickup tires is grimy looking after washing, also the white wall tires on my Harley. I bought some bleach for this purpose but the label says not to get it on certain metal rims. I've seen on this site how some of you can polish tractors like a diamond and was hoping someone could give me tips to make the white look white again. Thanks. |

NW IA | I've always used Soft Scrub. It's thick enough to stick to the tire and just enough bleach to clean the tire but doesn't harm my wheels. |

|
| I use SOS pads. |

|
| That's what I've always done, just wondered if there was a better method. Thanks. |

East Central Ia, S. Waterloo | I guess I've given up such endeavors now, other priorities. Back in the day, Ajax, put it on liberally with a wash cloth and use something like a nail brush after it sits awhile, then rinse. |

Columbia, MO | I've used straight Simple Green cleaner on tires. If you soak it good, usually no scrubbing required.

Never has mine. I've used it on vehicles with every kind of rim you can think of. A friend of mine put it and acid wheel cleaner on at the same time and got some "smoking" so I don't recommend that. |
