Kent County Ontario | Well the seeder went to the field. It cost me $600 for the seed box and a case of beer for the old lillisten wheels and frame. I've seeded 25 ac with it so far. I've used ARG in one plot and creeping red fescue with white clover in an other. This is all into 6 - 7 leaf corn. Im hoping that the lillisten will get the seed through the residue and not on top.
The other thing I did today is hand seed 14 different species in a small plot to see how they do in the shape of corn. I'm hoping to find some alternatives for ARG.
