Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Got the 925 JD flex head adapted to the IH 1480 combine with only about $250 worth of material cost including the new wobble box drive pulley to slow down the knife drive for $120. Was able to use the right header/air reel driveshaft as is,and could fit the left IH driveshaft by shortning the hex JD header drive shaft and moving the bearing out about a foot. The differences between JD and IH quick tach are not that great, mostly width difference and the hooks to hang the header,so the adapter is pretty much a flat plate. The hydraulic reel drive adapts to IH with just a pair of extension hoses with ISO male/female ends, altho the flow direction between male/female coupler is opposite between JD and IH.
