SC MN | I have received a lot of varying answers to my question so I will ask here.
If I want to hire a full-time employee, and I currently have 1 employee now, do I need to offer and/or pay for health insurance to the new hire?
When I look at the rules, it seems to imply that it is only required if you have 50 or more employees. But my accountant is 100% convinced that I need to offer a health insurance plan that is "an exact equivalent to the health insurance plan I have for myself."
