Subject: Harbor Freight toolbox work bench... Time will tell! (Pics)

East Central Ia
I bought five of the 42" HF toolboxes and made a workbench.

I took the casters off and bolted them together, should have a SS top bent for it by the end of the week.

I just couldn't pony up the cash for a fancy one so this was my compromise.

A neighbor has a nice one built out of two drawer filing cabinets but I felt having all the drawers 12" deep would waste space.

Hopefully this setup has enough large drawers... Time will tell.

The only problem with these is that they are only 18" deep... So I built a stub wall behind it with left over lumber from construction.

So far so good. These boxes are actually quite decent. They are sturdy and the drawers open and close nicely.
