Speed in MPH times working width in feet divide by 10. Gives some slop for turns, the actual divisor is 8.25 if I recall.
The result is in acres per hour.

Lorenzo, tx
(Mph x width x 5280)/43560 x %efficent=acph

For example 5mph x 30 ft x 5280=792000/43560=18.18 acre per hour times say 90%u efficiency would be 16.36 acres per hr.

Morris, IL
Working width x working speed in mph x field efficiency % in whole number / 825. Ex. (30' x 5 mph x 66)/825=12 acres per hour

Central Illinois
Speed times width equals acres in a ten hour day at 80% efficiency. So, 5 mph times 30 feet equals 150 acres in a ten hour day. Accurate for most tillage operations, although it may be slightly high for harvest or planting operations.

NE Mo

one MPH = 88' per minute.  Using this factor, and working width, will give square feet per minute, then X 60 minutes per hour, gives square feet per hour, then Divide my 43560 will give acres per hour.  Efficiency will be different whether planter, plow, disc, etc that then needs to taken in account
