Coldwater, Michigan
Boog,

Boy do I understand your issue. I hate Diabetic socks because there usually isn't enough elastic to keep them up. Although on certain days it sure is nice not to have those deep grooves in my calves. My cardiologist took one look at my legs a few months back (new Cardiologist) asked me if that happened on a regular basis. I replied that yes they did. Next question was "have you ever taken Lasix. Yes was the answer and I have been on lasix ever since and I have had a lot less swelling.

It is an old medicine that gets the water out. He did put me on Potassium chloride as well because that tends to get depleted as the water leaves.

I had taken Lasix years ago after some of my heart issues, but Dr had discontinued after I was healed up.

Walmart and Meijers have "regular" Diabetic socks if you look for them. Don't remember the brand, but they are usually in stock.
