What about putting the lift axle kit on your 7300 spreader it's pretty easy to do. It just lifts your axle up a bit with cylinder that is already there. It made a huge difference for us and it's really easy to install.



I'll have to ask about that. I've never heard of it. Does it isolate the front axle to take weight off the tongue? Why were you using it?


It pushes the front axle up with another set of remotes from the tractor, when it does that it pushes the oil from the front cylinder to the back two and then you get a lot more tongue weight. When not using it you just put the remote in float and the spreader susspension goes back to normal. Every spreader around bought in the last 5 years or so has it on. There are hills we can climb now with our 7300 we could not go up with a 6300 a few years ago. Just looked it up and houle calls it there weight transfer system. Also we run 14 psi in our back tires and go down the road at 30 miles an hour all day long don't be scared to take a little air out.
