Any advice on what I can spray to knock it out. Have it pretty bad on about 25 acres.

X3. Give it a stiff dose of Basagran, and then come back 10-14 days later and hit it again.

Where do you buy it these days? Does anyone have a comparative cost on it?

One pint of Me-Too-Laclor before planting. Cost about $8.00 per acre.

Basagran and crop oil will cost north of $20 per acre each time. Two times may be needed to Get them nuts.

Me-too-laclor shouldn't cost any more than $4.00 @ 1 pint.

I do for spot spraying. It will give you some leaf burn on the beans.

Question for all of you. Do you not get better nutsedge control with pursuit than basagran?

I'd look into using Classic. I believe Classic will do a better job than Pursuit on nutsedge, and I believe you can tank-mix Classic with glyphosate.  Biggest drawback is going to be if you have high pH soils.

Don't know about availability or cost as I haven't used any in a couple years. Last time I bought any the jugs looked like they were old enough to vote.

Basagran is a lot easier on the crop and carryover than Pursuit or Classic. I would rather use Basagran if I can get it. I haven't seen any around here for years.

How do you like it on soybeans? I haven't used Dual in years either but see its advantage as a residual. I haven't read the lobel but it was hard on corn here and never used much in beans, 1-3% OM silt loam soils, needed to be limed up to 6.5 pH.

haven't ever seen carryover with a half rate of synchrony (0.375oz). just getting enough classic to get the job done, but not enough to carryover. synchrony is $3-4 per acre plus a few dollars worth of glyphosate. Basagran is very hard to get. I scrounged up 10 gal from a supplier a few weeks ago for a customer that wanted to touch up some nutsedge in corn. It was old and the only Basagran they had. And at a quart per acre your talking $20+ per acre.

use to run a lot of dual on beans, but got away from it with the increased usage of valor

Classic when mixed with glyphosate is 95%+ control. Neat thing about classic is that it kills most of the tubers also so you dont have to deal with as much of it next year. Unless youare growing canola or something like that you dont need to worry about carryover. Basagran is only good if you go 2x and I dont know about you all but I dont like going 2x

West Texas
Readily available in peanut growing country. And it won't kill it but will burn it back pretty good. Repeated treatment will get it but so will roundup. Pursuit when it first came out in the 90's worked great on it. But they watered it down since then and it doesn't work as good although repeated applications will get it.

I had a garden full of nut grass due to covering the ground with peanut hay. Killed every bit of it with a mixture of Cadre, Pursuit, Basagran and Dual. Nothing grew there for 2 years after that and now it's a yard with bermuda grass. No nutgrass.

We kill it with multiple shots of RU. Takes more than once because it will keep coming up all season. This is in row crops, cotton, corn and milo.

Next year use permit in your corn at v2-v3. It is death in nutsedge.
