8410 won't go to full throttle

Subject: 8410 won't go to full throttle


Northern NE Panhandle		Took the 8410 down the road and hit 16th gear and thought I was going a little slow, was running 19mph and throttle was wide open 1850 rpms. Tractor does not seem underpowered at all pulling a 28ft disc but it seems by high idle speed is set to low. Oil pressure and temp all normal. Is not throwing any codes. Anyone have any ideas? TIA

Did you accidently bump the throttle control knob on the control panel below the gauges?

N/E Iowa		It happened to me. Bumped the field cruise knob, and thought i had a lemon when i bought ours. Now i know what to look for:)

I agree. Sounds like it's in the field cruise mode.

Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot		Does it have the floor pedal? I never use them, but was moving a 7510 the other day and it wouldn't go full throttle, finally checked and there was a sippy cup from my daughter up by the console under the rod.

michigan		I have a 6 yr. old ,4 yr. old and a 1.5yr. old. NEVER know what to expect when you hit the key!
