Oklahoma | A gentleman I have a great deal of respect for asked me to help with announcing a tillage demonstration at a tractor show coming up. I agreed to help out with what I could and he gave me a summary of what he is hoping will happen and can be discussed. There are some questions he lists that I am not confident in my thoughts/answers so thought I would ask here and I will be able to discuss with him prior to the event.
This is specifically for plows and discs from around turn of the century to 1950's or 60's.
The landslide puts pressure against the unturned soil opposite the moldboard...correct? Does the tail wheel do anything other than support the rear of the plow and help with depth control on the rear of the plow? What is a rolling landslide?
What does it mean having the "bottoms scoured"?
Thanks. | |
