I suppose only a farmer would think of this, but I was tooling around the neighborhood Sunday night looking for something neat to catch the conjunction of the moon and Venus and Jupiter. Neighbor's new grain legs are great to focus on at night but got lucky that they were loading fat hogs out of the finisher too and had everything lit up.

Slicker than a Yes album.
Nice Clay. We had a lighting situation the other morning with the sun hitting the grain setup from the east and very dark blue skies in the west. Don't often get that in the morning and the setup shows better looking at it from the east. Too much traffic coming to take even a phone pic.

Those pictures are really good. I carry a camera with me most of the time, but I can never seem to get those shots.

Can you email me a higher resolution file of that last one? I would like to make it my desktop background. You can send me a bill for it too if you want.

Thanks

Was that grain set-up just put up last summer? It looks like one that our local millwright constructed( E&R enterprises ) A budy of mine helped wire it

Quick answers, it's not a lagoon, just a regular farm pond. It's further from the barn than you would think from the photos. Yes, DSLR camera on a tripod. The bin setup went up in 2010 and local guy wired it. LEM, I will send you an email.

Guess I'm demoted to small time operator, I didn't think of that. Maybe I can catch him with the Cousin Eddie six pack belt.
