south central IOWA | Took this video today basically messing around saying we needed proof of his birth weight for when we start selling semen on him. The cow is 14 years old and about a month ago she was acting depressed and was off by herself in the pasture. Brought her up to the barn so we could keep a better eye on her. She never carries her condition well anyway but thought she just needed fed well so she has been on an excellent diet of corn and then silage since coming to the barn. As you can tell, you really have to watch your back around her. ;-)
BTW, we're offering 5 out of 10 shares on this calf if anyone is interested. He is out of Upgrade and she is out of Black Enhancer. Just joking of course but not really. :-)
