Subject: Dirt Raised Pigs

I know most do not raise hogs this way anymore. We are raising a few; mostly kids pets/projects and for our own meat. I am looking to buy a boar for breeding this fall but not sure where a person can find animals that are used to dirt. In the past, pigs I got from confinement farms don't do real well in the dirt. Some do, some don't. So I would prefer to find a breeder that raises them on dirt or in hoops, whatever, anything other than concrete confinement. Does anyone have any ideas where a person could go to find such a breeder? Preferably a Spot breeder? Of course, the association websites have no information available that would tell me this. So I am looking for ideas for finding one or maybe someone on here raises "conventional" hogs or knows of someone? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
