Subject: JD 8120


Backed the tractor in the shop this morning for a cleaning got done and the tractor will not move shift it out of park and the park lite stays lit shift to gear and the trans and info lites flash hit code button and get PCU62 code says in the book problem- attempted to shift from neutral to gear with operator out of seat (which I wasn't) Fix- return to seat shift to neutral resume normal operation, tried this several times and nothing changes! any ideas?

I'll check but I don't think it would start if it was unplugged

I would disconnect battery and let computer/safeties reset - worth a try.

have had this happen before. You need to push in the clutch pedal when you first start out if the seat switch is bad worked for me

There were 3 different electrical connector behind seat that I took apart and replugged in then it worked!!

pull up bottom seat cushion . Seat switch may be broken .My switch broke and had to replace entire cushion. You can jump around switch at plug for short fix.

Try using the clutch. If it moves then likely just seat switch or connection.
