NC Iowa | Currently using a 2600 to record coverage in a SP sprayer, but when doing end rows and starting the first pass I am only spraying 20' or 60' of an 80' boom, but the coverage map always shows 80'. Wanting to select boom sections manually or have the raven switch off boom sections in the 2600. Would help clarify what has been sprayed and the total acres in the 2600 would be much closer to actual acres. If linked together using the 3rd party cable kit, does the coverage map on the 2600 screen change when shutting off boom sections with the raven manually? I have looked for this information but everything I see it just talks about total acres and applied information. On the equipment tab in the 2600 it doesn't give the ability to have sections on a sprayer boom, does this capability come only when swath control is purchased, I swear it was there before? Don't want to depend on the 2600 system being available so that is the reason for no JD rate controller/ swath control, and keeping the raven system. Thanks

I would suspect that the GS2 is not actually "Talking" to the raven. What software version do you have on the GS2? 2.7.1013 is this spring. This update did change how you setup com ports. GS2-Equipment(machine tab)-Com Port It now has profiles so i would verify that they are correct its very straight forward and effective. Save a profile named sprayer. Just select field doc connect then follow the next two pages by selecting brand and model. Once it starts to communicate with the raven it will populate and grey out your widths and apply sections under the implement tab.

Yes a Feild Doc connect kit should do you for documenting the info from the Raven controler the 2600 witdths will come from the Raven so when cut boom sections down it will send that info to the 2600.

Valparaiso, Indiana | PF90363 is the Controller Harness Kit. 2600 will get boom widths from the Raven and will paint by boom section.

NC Iowa | Excellent, thanks guys. Have a 7 boom switch box ordered for a 660 monitor to hook up, I'm assuming that will operate the same as a 450 once connected? Has anyone done that or know that it will work?

I am running a 2600 with a 450. I have the field doc cable. The only thing that I can get the 2600 to recognize is the "Target rate" and the "Actual rate". I cannot figure out how to get it to map the applied area, as stated above, or more importantly to record field volume. The two are communicating but it has no value. I am not wishing to hijack anothers thread, but was thinking of posting this very thing a couple of days ago. Help would be appreciated. Also, I am using the SCV to turn mapping on and off. I went there thinking that I could change to the raven for mapping, but did not find anything.
