Subject: Lost Terrain corrections

New Cambria, Mo
We lost Terrain Correction three times tonight between 545 and 600 pm. After every time we restarted the 500 and EZ steer and it works flawlessly. BTW it's on RTK and have clear signal from both tower and repeater. Help with maybe why!!

Thanks

would venture to say its a power issue to the t2 box. Is it powered seperately from the 500 or running through the 500?

We had the same problem. It worked fine for a long time, then started acting up. This is a power issue to the T2 (not enough). If you are still using the Cig outlet to power the units, find the power cables, and switch where the power goes into the harness. Usually people plug the T2 into the EZ500 power cable (T2 getting power from the EZ500). Unplug the T2 from that cable, and plug in the cigarette plug into that. Then plug the EZ500 power plug into the aux outlet on the T2 power cable. Now the T2 gets the power first and the display gets the rest (EZ500 getting power from the T2). We never had problems since.

Ben, I'm sitting here trying to follow your instructions, but not quite following. Am I gonna have to change some connectors? I plugged the two prong cig lighter male plug w female pins into the unused two prong female plug w male pins connector on the t-2 harness, now what do I do with the two prong (male plug w female pins)power wire coming off the 500??
