| I have a set of steel tracks on a consignment auction next weekend(July 31st) Seriously considering if I should go pick them back up! |
Macon, IL | Only thing I will say is it will be the earliest harvest in my lifetime. |
sw corner ia. | considering all the fog we have had lately I would say you better go get them back. |
| At this rate I would sell them and buy a set of big pontoons! |
NEMO | It's one thing running in mud to harvest good crops, but when your running mud to harvest crappy crops, it's gonna make for a long fall. |
West Central IL | I could possibly be in some early corn in 6 weeks and if it doesn't stop raining soon we will be harvesting in the mud then. |
PROSPECT, TENNESSEE | Going to be early here! I don't guess I have ever saw corn mature as fast as this year, be shelling in August. Fall's like last year will stick in your mind wont they! The springs fixing the ruts seem to be worse though. |

45 miles south spingfield il. | I agree with the early corn, really think it will be done before beans are ready. PLEASE pick up those tracks, you can chew my you no what if the mud doesn't show- and I'll smile all fall if we don't make any ruts :) |

Farmington IL | The earliest I rememeber picking corn in earnest is September 6. We could well hit that date this year. If we get started then, we will be fine because we will have dry corn and we will have a very large window to get the crop in even if it stays wet. |

Slicker than a Yes album. | If I remember, we started on the 6th in 2008. Crazy year then. |
Revere Missouri very northeast corner. | I shelled some on labor day one year that was planted april 3rd. the corn was 13.9 on moisture and made 100bu. Although it was on sand which might have helped it mature. Dad said that was the earliest he had ever been in the field. |

West Central, MO | We'll be lucky to be shelling corn by mid October on our place. I guess we're in the minority? I would say beans will be even a little later. |
Macon, MO | We won't have to worry about storage, won't probly fill half of it this year. Done some tillage already since it never got planted, which is a good thing because large part of it is standing water today from the 8"+ since Sunday. |
