| Bought my first bull today after leasing in the past. I’m not used to feeding them during the off season, so I’m looking for some input.
This bull is almost 2 years old and won’t be doing any breeding until next summer. What kind of diet would you put him on now and thru the Winter?
I’ve got one small group of cows seperate from the rest of the herd grazing stockpiled orchard grass & dormant alfalfa and I’d really like to put him out there but not sure how well that will meet a bulls needs vs a dry bred cow. Thanks! | |
