Turkey | Hello guys well for double corn i give another chance due to low selling prices and high input costs. Many regions skip planting corn this year and some regions corn damaged due to very hot weather ( for main crop corn)
I plan for planting 165 acres already planted 120 acres hope will finish in 2 days the rest.
All planting corn seeds are non gmo in Turkey due to EU regulations. Turkey can import some gmo corn and soybeans we can import gmo corn but forbidden to plant gmo seeds this is another story. We
My corn seed is
Kws Inteligens Fao 530 i guess in ypur system 114 days ( just guessing)
For bottom fertilizer: 2500 kg/ha DAP
For granular starter fertlizer in the seed bed; 30 kg/ha 11.48.0
Seed population : 34000 seeds / acres
Fully center pivot irrigattion
Climate : arid semi arid low humudity
Soil. Clay loam redish soil
After wheat harvest all stubble spreaded to field than plough wait couple days the help sun burn the jgrass ryhzomes and power harrow make it flat. Than irrigate to push jgrass seed emerged. Later 2 times discharrows and leveled. After planting corvus+dual and started to irrigate.
In tractor cabin u will see 3 monitors . One is chinse model automatic driving( i have also topcon but due to jammer issue i am very close to syrian border it doesnt work most of time. Chinise models also use china sattelites and new software for jammer issue)
Other monitor is for seed flow sensor ansid micro fertiliEr control the last one is cameras inside to seed planting unit to see seeds are flowing or not. Somestimes sensors may make problmes make no flow sound but when i checked seeds are on the plate so double check is better
