South Central, Minnesota | Using 750 to steer tractor and and insight to control sprayer but How do I automatically map on the 750 as autoswath controls sprayer |

South Georgia | The easiest thing to do would be to configure the 750 to log when autopilot is engaged. That's what I do in my Deere sprayer that uses Deere technology to run the boom and a FmX 1000 to steer.
A more elegant solution would be to use the 750's external coverage logging trigger wire. This concept would use a relay in a boom valve circuit. A simpler setup for someone less electronically inclined would be to add a simple pressure switch to the boom plumbing, probably in the center boom section. This would be a two-wire connection that would apply ground to the 750's external coverage logging trigger circuit. Depends how much work you want to do. |

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I agree with the above two suggestions.
I'm curious as to why you want Coverage logging on the 750 since the Insight does it so well. The above logging suggestions will be "all ON or all OFF", in other words the sprayer will just appear as one section on the 750. The map on the Insight with a Liquid Product Control module which I assume you are using, will show the individual section status correctly.

South Georgia | On my sprayer it is helpful to see coverage on the display that does the steering to help line back up on the correct swath when turning into the field. Also useful for counting passes between sprayed area and current swath when you have to skip around. You are correct that it just shows the full boom width, not broken down by active boom section, but, at least in my experience, that level of detail is not required. |
