| Slow going (2.5 acres per hour) with a 7 foot tiller, but boy does the ground look great.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well a tiller takes down/incorporates cover crops, and I could run it in moister conditions than the disk.
I imagine not much compaction either at how light the implement is and how small the tractor required to run it.
Anyone else rototill a bunch of acres or had good luck with them? I am kinda surprised I don't see anyone with the big versions of these around here, seems like an easier implement to maintain and store than the chain of cultivators/cultimulchers/disks/rolling baskets/soil finishers.
Last 7 years we've mainly been disking/chisel plowing with a 4020, but I was very happy with trying this set up this year.
Planting into a rototilled field was a real treat!
