I believe these would be calendar year highs? Corn was higher in the fall of 22 than it got in June of 23. Also, with regards to trend line (it’s been hashed and rehashed on here) I remember “peak corn” in 2013 when so many were certain the yield curve had flat lined.
It is the "summer" highs. So from April 1st to First Notice Day at the end of June for July Corn Futures. It is not the calendar year. There is some years where our highest price wasn’t in the summer, although we typically make the highs for the year in the early summer to late spring. |
