North Central US | Super Valu used to be its own thing, and the stores appear to be semi independent.
IGA is a company with semi independent stores, like Super Valu
What does Jack and Jill belong to? Usually they are the Our Family brand(Spartan-Nash), but was Jack and Jill originally like the Super Valu and IGA stores? Are they still connected to Piggly Wiggly, which most of them were before? In other words, who were/are they affiliated with?
Why did all the Piggly Wiggly's disappear from the Northern Plains and turn mostly into Jack and Jill's with a few turning into Super Valu's and IGA's years ago?
