ecmn | It has been an extremely easy winter no doubt, also had an unexpected 2 months of late season grazing after the drought. Getting excited to be back on green ground. There is something special, peaceful walking with the cows while they graze in the summer. Winter feeding, bale chopper has been a wonderful addition to the cows, they clean it up very well. The red hat lady is there for daily inspection of each animal to make sure noone has a foot problem or anything, everyone gets a scratching Jim, even have a couple red ones! NW Wisconsin | Easy winter here too with a lot of grazing of stalks wasnt wet so they were able to eat a ton and not waste much... However dreading these temps. Just makes feeding a mess. Going to be record highs next week and am not looking forward to it. Going to turn into a soup hole real quick. Bright side has been that its been nice weather to clean up tree lines and fix fence. Half way tempted to see if I can get some new corner posts in LOL

56676 | It sure is strange. Seems like all the nasty winter went to NE and IA and IL and I don't know where else, and we're just up here kinda like "What winter?" Usually we get the frozen end of the stick. Sure sucks for the fishing resorts and snowmobile-related business.

MN rice county | I’ve been rotational grazing for 28 years. The earliest I started grazing was April 21 and the latest May 9 the bale choppers are definitely a nice way to feed cows have not had a bale ring for 28 years
