edgerton ks. | Wife and I just returned from a trip to east coast. Decided we’d swing by different solar farms along the route home. There is a proposed project in our immediate neighborhood so we wanted to see some firsthand. We were both amazed at the shear size and scope of such an undertaking. Most of the ones we saw were completed and had grass growing underneath them. This was interesting because you were able to witness construction from west to east of completed panels to just driving pillars in bare ground.
Another just starting near Jerseyville. I guess a sign of things to come? After researching commercial solar operations it appears that there are hundreds in the planning and permitting stages throughout the entire country.
Anyone within an hour or two, it would make an interesting drive to view the size of this project. | |
