| hey, I've seen several rims that had the center torn out- or bolt holes wallowed out, that were fixed with a reinforcing ring welded in place. How about using one for preventative measures? The 10x15 rims on my windrower seem to only last 3-4 years before the centers tear out. And boy oh boy, getting a jack under that machine thats clear down on the ground is a bugger.
I've always gone and bought new rims- which are up to about 140 bucks these days. Would these rings need to be welded in place if the rim is in good shape? Shoup has them for about 25 bucks each. |
