Subject: Hoeing organic corn?

Central iowa
First organic corn crop. Finished planting a 100 acres last Sunday. Hoed it Monday and Tuesday. Was told to hoe right behind the planter than every 4 days. 30000 and 32000 pop, light ground. Corn is about to spike through and finding some white root hairs. Chickened out on hoeing again til corn is up 2 or 3 leaf able to row it. What do you guys think. Don't have a tine weeder either. Or a suitable harrow. Any other organic advise greatly appreciated.
