Subject: When to test a bull.

I have a 14 month old red angus bull. He is on cows along side an old Hereford.

Im not currently relying on him breeding anything, so he won’t be immediately replaced if he is bad.

At what age do I have him tested? Do I need to measure his nuts to decide when? It’s pretty expensive between the cost and time to go do it so I don’t want to do it more than once if I can avoid it. I’m not sure he is big enough to get a large frame cow done today anyway. But he’s always bellowing, smelling and riding stuff.
