Dublin, MS | I installed agleader sure drive on a case 1200 planter. 12 row with standard case meters. It's setup to run off the tractor's batteries.
The meters should pull about 4.8 amps each (12 row)= 58 amps total. I'll be running it with 8285R tractors with 200 amp alternators. I have no clue what kind of load the electrical system has on it when the lights, air conditioner, etc are running constantly at night.
My salesman and agleader guy both say it should work, and I trust them, I just have bad luck! I'm wondering if I should go ahead and add the hydraulic driven alternator? I don't want to get stuck needing to add it in planting season.
