Subject: New Holland 8160 Transmission not working properly.

hello everyone,
hopefully somebody can chime in and help me out. we have a new holland 8160 we are trying to repair, it would not pull in the higher gears in a,b,c ranges all lower gears were fine, thinking clutches were probably burnt up we replaced all the clutches and piston seals, orings , ect. over 5k of parts from the dealer, bench tested everything even put a new manifold and front cover in the tranny, bolted back together and it is worse than before only now it doesn't want to take reverse half the time as well as no pulling in higher gears same as before, we have tried calibrating the tranny and keep getting u31 code that speed is sensed and the tractor hand brake is applied and wheels chocked, it will slightly rock when trying to calibrate then throw the code. any help would be appreciated. also FYI it does have the range command tranny
