mercer county, il | I’m not generally one to get too overexcited, but I’ve kinda had my fill.
I called last Wednesday and ordered some parts, and was told if I ordered online there was free shipping. So I ordered online, and knew in advance I would have to pay truck freight on one item. But the rest of the parts would ship for free.
Well, it took 2 days to get a shipping quote, I paid it immediately. I called Saturday morning just to check that all was well, and it was according to the lady I talked to.
Got an e mail yesterday that my parts had shipped, ok, even though I’d paid early Friday, whatever, water under the bridge.
Come along today, they send an e mail, they need paid for freight. Ok, I was getting mad by now, so I had my wife call and take care of it. I checked my online statement, and they did bill for freight Friday, in fact overbilled what the estimate was, and then billed it again today.
And now they say nothing has shipped yet, and the extra billing on Friday wasn’t them? I’m kinda irritated I’m paying freight on the whole order, and almost a week later, nothing has shipped.
I went through something similar like this with them a few years ago, hopefully this time I’m smart enough to learn not to do business with them again. | |
