West Central Illinois | I'm needing around 12 dozen more bale covers this year as my grandpas old stash of them are starting to get pretty brittle. Not exactly sure where he got these way back when but all I can find similar online is a website that markets them as "bale bonnets" but they're like $220/dozen which seems kind of steep for what they are. I put away my hay single file rows on a few different sloped spots wity some gravel underneath and would rather not fight with 1 bug tarp for each row of bales. Anybody ever find a place to buy the hardware for these and just a big roll of plastic and cut them to size individually for cheaper?
