Manitoba | This is the left (believe correct term is slave cylinder) on the reel of a 8825 swather. Only one hose going to it which is fed from top of cylinder on the right side. Swather not used for few years and went to raise reel and only lifts on right side. Removed top plug on left cylinder and with right side raised all way up i have oil coming out of plug on left cylinder but no lift.
If looking into plug opening it appears there is a retaining ring on internal shaft but i dont know how one would remove it? Cylinder moves freely in and out by hand and i dont see anything inside that appears to be a seal so it must have blown out
Any tips on how to disassemble?
