West Alabama | I’m going to put an ATU 300 in a GreenStar Ready 8420. What harnesses do I need? This Greenstar stuff is confusing as hell to me, and my dealer isn’t sure what I need because they sell very few ATUs. I think I need some kind of gender changing harness to hook between the Starfire plug in the top of cab and the 3000 receiver because they are both male ends. And where do I plug the 2630 display? Is that plug in the ATU 300 harness? Seems the easiest way to make this work would be to get the “John Deere Greenstar 2/3 Universal ATU 300 Cab Harness” from Ag Express and forget trying to use the crap already in the tractor. I know it would not be as clean or neat of an installation, but I believe it would be a lot easier. Am I missing something? Or can someone please tell me exactly what I need so I can go to the dealer and say, “This is what I need. Please order this for me.”
