Morgan Co. Illinois | I have no stake in this auction in any way but thought many would be interested. Saw where Mariman Auction in Geneseo IL was having an estate sale for a man that had been plant manager at East Moline. The most interesting thing I thought is a picture of a proposed special edition paint scheme run of 66 series tractors for the Bicentennial. Frames and wheels were to remain red and hood and cab exterior white with stars on the hood sides. They would also change the model numbers to 1476, 1076 etc. Don't know how to post links but it's something I had not heard of before. | |
